Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic Director that is an entrepreneurial leader with a blend of commercial, product,
and technical acumen along with business savvy. They will be responsible for our Platform Program. The
responsibility includes driving product improvement through iterating with existing customers, identifying
new customers and sales, ensuring proper security protocols are in place, verifying compliance with
Department of Defense (DOD) regulations, and coordinating with our internal teams to implement
desired changes. The individual should be a self-starter that is motivated by the opportunity to
accomplish big goals and make an outsized impact. This role will encompass tasks and actions at the
strategic, operational, and tactical levels – the Director of Platform should be able to identify when they
need to shift operations from one level to another, communicate effectively to customers and
stakeholders at each level, and perform tasks required to advance the company’s goals at each level. This
individual must be able to operate autonomously and make decisions with strategic implications based
solely on intent.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
▪ Strategic leadership and communication – Define and implement the vision and roadmap for the
platform, aligning it with company goals and customer needs; clearly articulate and present this
vision and roadmap both internally to the company and to strategic-level stakeholders.
▪ Hands-on execution – Take initiative in executing projects, from content organization to
platform management, demonstrating a willingness to jump in and complete tasks directly when
needed.
▪ Project management – Oversee the development and delivery of the platform, ensuring projects
are completed on time and within budget.
▪ Cross-functional collaboration – work closely with developers, sales, and content creators to
ensure a cohesive approach to product development and customer engagement.
▪ Customer insights – Gather and analyze customer feedback to continually improve the platform
and user experience.
▪ Market research – Stay informed on industry trends and competitor offerings to identify
opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
▪ Performance metrics – Establish KPIs and regularly report on platform performance, user
engagement, and revenue growth.
Required Skills
Desired experience
▪ Military experience highly preferred.
▪ 5+ years of experience in program or product management, preferably in the tech or defense
sector.
▪ Proven track record of managing complex projects and cross-functional teams.
▪ Strong analytical skills and experience using data to drive decision-making.
▪ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all
levels.
▪ Familiarity with digital content management systems and licensing models (particularly with
DOD) is a plus.
▪ Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related fields.
▪ Entrepreneurial mindset – excited by the prospect of helping grow a great business.
Qualifications
Work authorization/security clearance requirements
Must be able to legally work in the United States. Verification will be required to process I-9. Must pass
company-sponsored commercial background check and meet eligibility criteria to support U.S. Federal
Government contracts. Security clearance is beneficial but not required.

Work environment
Remote, work-from-home schedule. Physical demands include:
▪ Must be able to communicate effectively with users, both verbally and through writing.
▪ Use a computer for extended periods, sitting or standing.
▪ Communicate by remote collaboration platform (MS Teams), and type on a keyboard.
▪ May be required to lift up to 40 pounds and climb on and off military equipment in austere
conditions.
Travel requirements
Monthly travel typically consists of 5-10 days per month. Destinations vary and will include military
installations and equipment manufacturer facilities across the continental United States and OCONUS
locations.
