Does StartGuides have the experience to work on my system?
We’ve worked on nearly 200 systems across a wide range of programs. At some point, there was a “first time” for each type of equipment, and we’re continuing to work on new systems all the time. Bottom line, we will customize the app to work for your system and your users regardless of what the system is.
Is my system ready for a StartGuide?
We are happy to start at whatever point in the acquisition process you want. We’ve assisted program offices in down-selections, tests and evaluations, and programs of record. The process for a new app generally takes six months so we can get the product out to your users quickly once we get started.
Is the StartGuide going to fit on my system's devices?
Yes – we compress our apps to the maximum extent to ensure they take up minimal space on your devices. Our average size is about 50 MB.
Will the StartGuide pass through all the Information Assurance guidelines to get loaded on my devices?
Yes – we have apps loaded on ATOs across the component services and SOCOM. The apps are very simple structures that do not connect to anything on your devices. Regardless, we’ll work with your team to ensure the apps work wherever your users need them to.
Can StartGuides manage CUI?
Yes – we treat all the information and data you provide to us as CUI and host everything on a government-approved cloud.

StartGuides has built apps for the US Air Force, US Army, US Marine Corps, US Navy, USSOCOM, Department of Homeland Security, Customs and Border Protection, and for some manufacturers. We have also supported some international partners.
Can StartGuides help with New Equipment Training?
Yes – our apps do not replace NET but they are an excellent augment to your NET teams and are the perfect leave-behind tool for train-the-trainer classes. In some cases, StartGuides products have been integrated into formal school Programs of Instruction to support instructor cadres as they integrate new systems and equipment into the POIs.
