The Soldier Protection System includes Integrated Head Protection System (IHPS Gen I - helmet, IHPS Next Gen - helmet, maxillofacial, and gas mask), Modular Scalable Vest (MSV Gen II), armor plates, Ballistic Combat Shirt (BCS), Blast Pelvic Protector (BPP), Concealable Ballistic Inserts and cummerbund.
This app covers the gear as well as proper sizing and fit. It explains the weight and level of protection of the four tiers for the MSV and the two configurations for the IHPS.
The app includes the proper assembly and donning procedures for each MSV tier as well as IHPS configurations. Maintenance instructions include cleaning, repairs, and storage.
Install Options
- Open Safari and go to the app site (PWA Link).
- Tap the “Share” button.
- Select “Add to Home Screen.”
- Tap “Add” in the top right corner.
- The app will appear on your home screen.
*Note: Some iOS devices may not properly scale the app when run as a PWA.
Option 1: Using PWA
- Open Chrome and go to the app site (PWA Link).
- Tap the “three dots” icon in the upper right.
- Select “Add to Home screen.”
- Tap “Add” in the popup.
- The app will appear on your home screen.
Option 2: Using APK
- Download the APK file from the provided Android link.
- Open the APK file to install it.
- Enable install from unknown sources (if prompted).
- Follow the prompts to finish install.
- The app will appear on your device.
- Open Chrome or Edge and go to the app site (PWA Link).
- Click the icon on the right side of the URL bar.
- Click “Install.”
- Alternatively, use the “three dots” menu to install the app.
- The app will be installed on your computer.
